Ribbons and Bows with Tee Gilli

Hi Everyone!  It’s Wini from LooneyBugDesigns with your Ribbons and Bows inspiration post for today!  Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page to enter your project in this  challenge to win a great Gilli prize!!

TeeGilli

I just love how fun and flirty Tee Gilli in her hip jeans is!  I decided to use a flower ribbon bow with a pearl center to brink out the blues in her jeans.  The orange accents bring out her pretty red hair (inspired by my youngest daughter).  All the papers (including the dictionary page) are odds and ends from my stash – I love it when I can create a fun layout with my scraps!

Thanks for joining us today at the House of Gilli and I can’t wait to see what you create for our Ribbons and Bows challenge!

I have used some Prima Annalee papers and paired them up with Jeans Gilli. I think she is my favorite Gilli stamp. I hope that you will break out those Gilli stamps and join us for our ribbon and bows challenge at House of Gilli. I cant wait to see what you create!

Ribbons and Bows

Today is my turn, Stephanie, to show you my Gilli creation.

005 copy (Small)

For my image I chose Cowgirl Gilli. She is so versatile, she can be used in many areas. For this card I have her being an officer of the law!

I pulled out my Cricut and dusted it off for these stars. These are from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and are very fitting with the patterned paper. I colored Gilli with Copics and my sentiment uses the SSD Anglaise Circle Spellbinders compatible Dies. For my bow I used Tim Holtz Crushed Olive Distress Pads and inked it up. I also inked all the edges of my papers. I added three colors of ribbon in my bow and tied it all with my bow easy.

For the inside of the card I used the same stars and added a couple of pistol charms along with my sentiment.

009 copy (Small)

thanks for visiting us at House of Gilli and hope you will enter our challenge. Remember, a Gilli stamp isn’t required but there’s more to win if you do use one!

Gilli's Button Challenge

Hi out there there in blogland!!!! Becca here, and it is my turn to share my card for the Button Challenge this week. There are still a few days left to enter our challenge, so gather up those buttons and join us.
I chose to use Stole Gilli. This is the first time I have used her, and I TOTALLY love her. She is so fancy and gorgeous, ready to hit the town in her fur!!!!
I used K&Company Julliene papers, I love the flowery patterns of them, so girly!! I added a light brown silk ribbon and bow and some lace to make it even more girlie! I love the brown color scheme, and thought that Stole Gilli looked great in brown shades to accent her fur stole and hat!!! The buttons I added are simple clear buttons which I tied brown floss through the center to make them pop and give added dimension. If you would like more details on my card, please pop on over to my blog.
I cant wait to see your creations with buttons!!!!

A rainbow of Buttons

Gili Tee_YouInWords~

Hello everyone! I am a little late (ehem lol) posting today…but I promise I have good reasons and hummm…it is all good! LOl…I will be sharing soon some cool news. LOL

Gili Tee_YouInWordsToday I bring you a rainbow of buttons! I picked Gilli Tee for my buttons challenge project and you can see I am in a very colorful mood LOL. My idea was to use each button to point a quality of my little friend! I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and cut the little tags..meticulously coloring the letters with my copic markers. I color matched the buttons with each color tag…I am a sucker for colorful things! LOL. The dot pattern paper is my own design. The frills were a combo that I created using some pre existing shapes from Silhouette library. The little pearls were created using liquid pearls ( I am becoming hooked) LOL. All that blings is stickles…and as always Gilli was colored with my copic markers! Nestabilities ovals were used as base for Gilli.

I will be adding more info about this project to my blog in a little while…for now I send hugs to you all and I hope you will join us for this super cool challenge Ann brought us!!!!!!

Huggies-O!

♥ For how long have you been crafting? What are your favorite crafts? - Gilli by Marcia2

I always like crafts. I tried crochet, embroidery, drawing, painting, but nothing gave me pleasure until I found card making. I love card making. I have been making cards for a few years, about 20! In the beginning I made cards using parchment, then quilling. Recently I discovered the blog world and with that numerous techniques for card making. Now a days I am loving coloring stamps and using them in combination with paper and scraping materials.

♥ How did you learn about Gilli Stamps? What do you like the most about Gilli? Como você ficou sabendo das estampas Gilli? O que você mais gosta nas estampas?

I learned about Gilli’s during a blog hop over Vivi’ and Yone’s blogs. What I like the most about Gilli is that they are delicate and this quality  charms me.

♥ Tell us a little bit about yourself..Fale um pouquinho sobre você…

I just turned 45, no kids and I live in the country part of Sao Paulo in Brazil (a tiny little town called Mirandopolis). I have a degree in Pedagogy, but I did not like it! I live a very simple life and I love to read! I love my two dogs Honey & Moon.

Amo minha cachorras a Lua e a Mel!

♥ Give is a a brief description on how your created your project. Conte-nos como voce criou seu cartao…

I made an easel card . I chose the cute Gilli Florist. Gilli was colored with watercolor pencils and a bit of water. I used a variety of punches for added décor. The flowers were embossed to have a more natural look. For added touch ribbons and buttons.

Thanks for the opportunity to showcase my work!

In the name if the Gilli  Team I thank you Marcia for sharing your creations with all the Gilli Groupies and visitors of the house!..Don’t forget our doors are always open! How about dropping by Marcia’s blog for a visit?

Challenge #9 ~ Use Buttons!!!

Hi Everyone; welcome to Challenge #9 at House of Gilli!!!  To enter this challenge you must use buttons on your project;  I'm sure this will be easy for everyone!  We'd love to see you use your Gilli images and you'll get two entries if you do, but it's not a requirement.  We'll have many inspirational ideas for you over the next couple of weeks, so keep checking in at Gilli's House.  ;)  Oh and the challenge winner will receive a Gilli surprise!!!  Here's a look at my card using Rockability Gilli (and buttons):
I paper-pieced Gilli's dress; and as I was trying out different ideas, it was reminding me of paper dolls and Colorforms.  I used to love changing the outfits and scenery of both of these, and I guess my love of card making is somewhat similar, lol.  Gilli is colored with Copics and the pretty die behind her is a Stamping Scrapping/Spellbinder die.  You can get these at Stamping Scrapping as well as, matching stamps to go with these!  Here's a close up of Rockability Gilli:
So get out those buttons and start creating!  Please leave a direct link to your project; can't wait to see what you make!  Thanks,  Ann

Make Your Own Pretty Flowers

Hey Everyone,
Dionne here with one last chance to join in on the fun Flower Challenge.  I made my own flowers using a punch and a brad, and I coated them with an iridescent shimmer paint. I also stamped Tee Shirt Gilli on glossy paper and colored her in. I hope you enjoy.

Renaissance Gilli and Flowers

Happy Friday, everyone!

Aletha, here. It’s my turn for the House of Gilli's Challenge #8. For this challenge you are to “use flowers.” Well…I think you can say that I did use flowers. LOL!

I received my Renaissance Gill from StampingScrapping.com a few weeks ago. Isn’t she stunning? I love the way the creator of Gilli, anaRy, has drawn her. Her gown looks like it floats.

The DP that I used is from DCWV: Mariposa stack, and Recollections: Glorious Gardens. I lucked out on finding this paper. I usually find a paper I like and color my image accordingly, but this time around I did the opposite. My CS is SU Really Rust and of course, Cryogen 80# Iridescent for the Copic marker coloring.

When you get a minute, hop on over to my blog and check out the challenges that I entered Gilli in.

I hope you join us for Challenge #8. A great big THANK YOU! to the ones that have.

Thanks for looking and I hope to see your creation soon!
Aletha

Flowers challenge

Hi there gang,
It's me, Becca, here. It is my turn to share my creation with you using FLOWERS! How easy is this challenge, I know, I just LOVE flowers, so this one was a breeze for me. SO much fun!!!!!
I used some of the gorgeous K&Company Julienne papers for this card. They are so flowery and just gorgeous, I just had to use them for this theme. I paired them up with Fairy Gilli (one of my faves!). I just love how soft and feminine she is.
If you would like more details on my card, I would love to have to have you stop by my blog HERE. I hope you will pop over to Stamping Scrapping and pick up some Gilli Stamps of your own, they are so cute and amazingly versatile. Then come on over to House of Gilli and join us for our flower challenge this week. I cant wait to see what you create.

Flowery Gilli

Today it is my turn, Stephanie, to show you my Gilli creation. Believe it or not I had a little trouble with this. Why? Not sure, I wanted to do something different so different it is.

001 (Small)

Well, what do you think? I thought these scallops looked like flowers so that started out as my focus but then I  thought I should at least add some flowers too so I used the coordinating paper that had flowers in it and cut some out to go around my sentiment.

Here is a list of materials:

What will you create for our challenge?
